2011 Scion xB Receives Mild Facelift, on Sale from $16,670
Scion's bread and butter model, the xB, has received a mild makeover that includes exterior styling tweaks and interior upgrades for the 2011 model year.
On the outside, the boxy hatchback gets a restyled front bumper with enlarged outer vents, a revised grille with a new honeycomb pattern and a new headlamp design.
At the back, changes are limited to the reshaped bumper and the new tail lights that integrate the rear backup lamp. The addition of two new colors (Army Rock Metallic and Elusive Blue Metallic) round off the exterior revisions.
Inside, the 2011 xB gets improved front seats with larger bolsters for greater comfort and support, fresh fabrics with new patterns for all seating surfaces, a new center console that comes with a sliding armrest and updated gauge-cluster design Furthermore, the steering wheel now includes both telescopic and tilt functions.
The updates to the 2011 xB come with a $150 price increase over the 2010 model resulting with MSRPs of $16,000 and $16,950 for manual and automatic transmission models (not including a delivery, processing and handling fee of $670), respectively.
